MAN ARRESTED FOR VEHICLE THEFT

#ARREST | A Tamworth man has been arrested in relation to a stolen vehicle.

On Wednesday 16th September at around 21:10 we received a report that a white Vauxhall Insignia had been stolen with keys from an address in Litton, Stonydelph.

Officers located the vehicle a short while later on Sandy Way and one male fled from the vehicle but the driver was detained.

The 30-year-old male, from Leyfields, was arrested for theft of motor vehicle.

He remains in custody at this time.
